Where It All Began
High Sociétéa began from a lifetime of memories between my mother and I.
Some of my most treasured memories growing up in South Africa are of the two of us sitting together over afternoon tea—talking about life, love, womanhood, and everything in between.
Two years ago, my mum was diagnosed with dementia. Being far from home in Canada made it even more painful.
Yet even now, there is one thing she still remembers—our mother-daughter afternoon tea time.
It taught me that memories made with love are timeless and can live beyond time, beyond illness, beyond anything.
High Sociétéa was born from that truth—a space where every cup, every conversation, and every shared smile becomes a memory to be treasured forever.
This is more than just a tour.
It is a journey of connection, of presence, and of beauty—an invitation to create moments that linger long after the last sip.

Giving Back as a Practice
Every three months, we invite women from a local shelter to join us on a complimentary High Sociétéa experience — because every woman deserves to feel honoured, celebrated, and held in beauty, even just for an afternoon.
